How to... turn off sounds on Y!PP

The sounds and music on the game can get annoying and/or distracting and you might want to turn some of them off at a point. Just keep in mind that some of the sounds help you on the game, for example game alerts.

• The first sounds that I turned off was the music on the log in page. To turn this on/off simply click on the button with the note image on it at the top right of the screen.

• To turn off other sounds, go to your Ye panel, then Options at the bottom of the screen (you need to be logged into the game for this).

• A window pops up in the game with several tabs at the top (About, General, Chat, Sound, Mute list, Puzzle keys, Chat shortcuts). Click on the Sound tab.

• Under the Sound tab you have several tick boxes (Alerts, Feedback, Ambient, Music, Game alerts, Game sound effects) that you can leave ticked or untick as well as a Sound effects volume scrollbar. Play around with the volume level as well as what sounds to keep and what you can live without until it satisfies your own taste
